We're back! And we had a fabulous time. We spent all day Friday in the city touring the National Gallery of Art. Then, at night, we attended a party on top of the Federal Reserve building where we had a direct view of the fireworks. It was AWESOME. Saturday, we just hung around the house. David, Chara and Riley drove up Friday so we all went out to dinner Saturday night. The drive home was thankfully uneventful. The boys did a great job. Unfortunately, our camera died Friday... so we didn't get any pictures of the fireworks or anything after that. Bummer. But check out the pictures we were able to take. I made comments on most so be sure to read them.

Cute dress by the way.

Looks like you guys had fun! We missed you guys though!
It looks like ya'll had an awesome time!! I can't wait to hear more about your trip. I can't believe you and Bruin didn't get all "national treasure" and manage to steal one of the paintings!! :)
You guys did a great job of capturing the best of the best at the National Gallery of Art. When all is said and done our nation's capitol is a must see. I'm so glad you were able to see the fireworks with absolutely no obstruction. It was great having you here even for such a short visit. Love you guys. Mom
P.S. You look even more beautiful in person in your spiffy dress, Nicole.
