Change and Good Friends

So, as you can see, I made some changes to our blog. Ever since I was little, I get in these moods where I just have to change my environment. I would spend all day sometimes rearranging my bedroom. Well today, I got in that mood. So, voila! New blog. :)

Today was also a day of reconnecting with good friends. My good friend from college, Mickelle, was in town this weekend with her husband (who I went to high school with) and her year-old little boy, Ethan. We were only able to spend an hour together but it was so good to see her and talk. Our other good friend from college, Aisha, came to hang out as well. Aisha was actually the one who got me the job at Blackbaud... which, as you know, is where I met and fell in love with Bruin. So we LOVE Aisha! Here's a picture of us. It's a bit blurry, sorry...

Hot mommas! From left to right: Aisha, Me, Mickelle and Ethan.

Rainbows

Rainbow by God, Picture by Bruin

And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." Genesis 9:12-16

An all too familiar picture

So, this is a picture I took of Dodger on Sunday (click on the picture to make it bigger so you can really see the damage...) Looks a little like this picture of Cricket a few months ago, doesn't it?

What is it with us and muddy dogs?!?
He had such a good time though that we just let him be...of course, the mud sink sure came in handy later that night. :)

I guess boys will be boys!! :)
