It's here!

Please help us welcome the newest member of the Robinson house... our new plasma TV!! It arrived today at 2:30pm, weighing in at 150 lbs and measuring 42 inches long. :)
Our camera is still feeling under the weather from our trip but I found a picture of it online:

Isn't it beautiful? I can't decide who it looks more like though... Me or Bruin. :)

--Knowing we can handle traveling with two dogs: Priceless :)

We're back! And we had a fabulous time. We spent all day Friday in the city touring the National Gallery of Art. Then, at night, we attended a party on top of the Federal Reserve building where we had a direct view of the fireworks. It was AWESOME. Saturday, we just hung around the house. David, Chara and Riley drove up Friday so we all went out to dinner Saturday night. The drive home was thankfully uneventful. The boys did a great job. Unfortunately, our camera died Friday... so we didn't get any pictures of the fireworks or anything after that. Bummer. But check out the pictures we were able to take. I made comments on most so be sure to read them.

We're off!! Well, almost...

It's 11:50pm Wednesday night... and yes, we are still up. I swear we are the worst procrastinating couple in the world. The dogs are packed and ready to go. But we aren't. Sigh. Oh well! We are off to Washington, DC tomorrow to participate in the Fourth of July festivities on Friday. Our plan is to get into the city early and walk around a bit (maybe go to the National Gallery of Art), then lay back and enjoy the fireworks. I can't wait. It is something I've ALWAYS wanted to do, so I'm really glad we are able to. We'll take tons of pictures so be on the look out for them when we get back (Sunday). I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Be safe!
