Life with Dodger

We have survived Week One with Dodger. He's a sweet, funny, smart little guy and has adapted to our life perfectly. Cricket is doing well, too. He's still a little too cool for his younger brother but he's patient and gentle. Dodger has had a pretty rough life up until this point... he was found in a high kill shelter in Savannah, GA, lonely, cold and blind with juvenile cataracts. He was taken in by an organization called Save-a-Life and a wonderful woman named Holly fostered him. Save-a-Life raised the necessary $2000 for his cataract surgery, which went great and he can now see. He loves to play with toys, especially a bone. He lives for a pat on the head and a 'good boy'. And WOW... he has some nasty smelling toots. :) Here are a few more pictures of our beautiful new baby boy.

...and Dodger makes four.

It is our pleasure to announce the newest member of the Robinson family - Dodger Dash Robinson. More information to follow (Mom and Dad are tired after 4 hours in the car) but here are some quick pictures to tide you over. He's a 1-2 year old Boston who's had a rough life, but he's as sweet as can be and just wants to love and play.

I GOT CONED!

Poor Cricket. He suffers from some major seasonal allergies this time of year. We give him 3 Benadryl pills every day but it still doesn't help. In order to stop him from scratching all the fur away around his eyes, we have to 'cone' him. He is NOT happy with us when this occurs. But, as parents, we do what is best for him no matter how hard it is. He's better today, so the cone came off. But I couldn't resist posting this picture of him...
