These are a few of my favorite things...

It occurred to me today that four of our last five posts have been about our dogs. And while I know you all love reading about Cricket and Dodger, I figured I'd write a little about us for a change... Well, me actually. :)

I am ALL about things that are easy. Or at least, things that make my life easier. I got to thinking today about all the things in my life I could not survive without. I complied a short list (only 4) and I wanted to share them with you. Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite things, too.

1. Eucerin Calming Creme -

This stuff ROCKS. For those of us cursed with uber dry skin and the occasional Eczema, this is the only stuff I have found that works. We literally by it in bulk (its cheaper online).

2. Frozen Onions -

I DREADED making things that involved onions... my eyes would begin watering as soon as I thought about chopping one up. I tried ALL the tricks and nothing worked... until one day I saw the most amazing thing at Publix... frozen, already chopped onions. I buy 2-3 bags at a time and just cut open the bag and pour. Voila! I'm done. It's awesome.

3. Dog Mate Dentease Bones -

Our Bostons can (and will) destroy anything so we have to keep lots of toys on hand to be sure it's not anything of ours. We happened upon this bone at PetSmart one day and decided to give it a try. We didn't have high hopes, considering up until that point, toys had, at the most, a one week survival in our house. I'm happy to announce, the Dog Mate bone has lasted a few months now. Unfortunately, we can only find it online... in the UK! It's worth it though... so yes, we buy dog bones from the UK. :)

4. KraftFoods.com -

If there's something I have made that you have liked, chances are I got the recipe on KraftFoods.com. It's the most amazing web site with easy, delicious recipes made from every day NORMAL ingredients. They also send out a FREE quarterly magazine that I reference all the time.

I learned something new today with the onions. I'm going to try to find those. That's such a great idea.
